LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan has alleged that regime change decision was made behind closed doors in which person declared him ‘dangerous’ and ordered to bring Shehbaz Sharif and Ishaq Dar to government.

Addressing PTI workers and supporters, Imran Khan alleged that incumbent government is ‘gift of Qamar Javed Bajwa’. He added, “Person had declared me dangerous and suggested to oust me. Same person also suggested bringing Shehbaz Sharif and Ishaq Dar to government.” He claimed that he had asked Qamar Javed Bajwa to refrain from toppling his government but he toppled PTI government.

“I had made maximum efforts to hold elections before formation of new government. Constitution also orders to hold elections in 90 days after dissolution of assembly. 15 judges of Supreme Court had also given their opinion to hold polls in 90 days but caretaker government is unwilling to organise polls.”

Khan alleged that supporters of Maulana Fazlur Rehman have been handed over caretaker set up in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, whereas, pro-Shehbaz Sharif people are present in Punjab’s caretaker government. “They have planned to be in government till October and they will not hold polls.”

Imran Khan said that they sought orders from Supreme Court for timely polls in Punjab. “Supreme Court had once rejected PTI’s plea for holding polls. I have never complained about facing difficulties when courts were opened late at night.”

Meanwhile, Imran Khan lambasted Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for visiting United Kingdom amid ‘increasing terrorism and worst inflation in country’.

Taking to twitter, he strongly condemned ‘horrific and brutal killing’ of school teachers in Parachinar and martyrdom of six soldiers fighting terrorists in North Waziristan.

“At this time of increasing terrorism and dire economic situation, with worst inflation in our history, what is PM Shehbaz Sharif doing going off for coronation trip to UK?” Imran Khan wrote. He slammed Pakistan Democratic Movement saying, “PTI will fight with PDM till last ball. Government has no plan in bid to take country’s economy in right direction
