LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan reckoned assemblies’ dissolution his constitutional right. Former PM emphasised value of rule of law again when speaking to delegation of lawyers at his Zaman Park residence, claiming that without it, nation could not advance. It is imperative to cease bowing to United States in order to preserve rule of law in nation, Khan continued.
Imran Khan made accusations against former Army Chief Gen (retd) Bajwa, claiming that latter is to blame for nation’s economic woes.
Speaking further about Punjab Governor’s request for vote of confidence from Chief Minister, delegation of lawyers said that Governor’s move was unconstitutional. Manzoor Wattoo case is quite obvious in this regard, they added.
Imran Khan gave lawyers job of leading a nationwide movement for rule of law. On other side, Khan instructed female MPs to accept cash if opposition ever tries to lure them by offering tickets in future.
Female members informed Imran Khan that opposition had promised them money and told to shifting them to an undisclosed location.
