ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan puts pressure on institutions by hurling threats. She appeared before IHC over her appeal against conviction in Avenfield reference. In media talk after hearing, she said that PTI always puts up a challenge and clear its way out of everything. Criticising PTI Chairman she said that Imran Khan provokes people by telling them to break idol of fear, while he didn’t have courage to even name someone directly.

She further lashed out at PTI Chairperson and challenged him to bring forward proof of any security threats. During proceedings, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Prosecutor argued that these cases were created on orders of Supreme Court (SC) and present appeal is about aiding and abetting crime.

Maryam Nawaz assisted her father in making and hiding mentioned property, he said. On which, Justice Aamer Farooq remarked that decision of SC has nothing to do with this appeal, PML-N leader has filed appeal on account of short comings in Accountability Court’s decision. Court directed NAB Prosecutor to present counter arguments on case.
