LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan castigated PDM government for ‘not implementing SC verdict’. As per details, PTI Chairman Imran Khan said that yesterday people came out in solidarity with Supreme Court and Chief Justice of Pakistan from 4,200 different places. He said that constitution of Pakistan defines role of every institution.

Imran Khan maintained that Constitution of Pakistan abides by-elections in 90 days and nation stands behind Chief Justice of Pakistan. He lambasted PDM government saying they are now openly attacking Supreme Court. PTI Chairman Khan said that 70 percent of people have no representation in provincial and National Assembly.

Imran Khan announced to hold public gatherings from Monday (May 8) following government’s ‘reluctance’ to hold elections on May 14 despite orders from Supreme Court. Meanwhile, Imran Khan urged ticket holders from Lahore to speed up election campaign. Ticket holders from Lahore participated in meeting presided over by Imran Khan in which issues related to election campaign for Punjab Assembly elections were discussed.

Khan directed ticket holders to intensify election campaign through rallies and door-to-door campaigns in their respective constituencies. He urged ticket holders to spread PTI’s narrative to as many people as possible.

He directed candidates to address concerns of factions in their respective constituencies to persuade them to join election campaign.
