Imran Khan belittled country by selling precious gifts: PM Shehbaz

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan brought disrespect to country by selling out precious gifts given by foreign leaders.

Addressing ceremony here, he said leaders gave these precious gifts as sign of fraternal ties with people of Pakistan but former ruler sold them out in open market. “Due to faulty policies of PTI government, friendly nations including China were dismayed,” PM regretted.

He said that despite myriad economic challenges including post-flood situation, coalition government was determined to steer country out of current difficulties. He said coalition government was determined to steer country out of issues.  He laid foundation stones of communication, road, hydel and power infrastructure projects. He said, “These challenges might be manifold but 220 million people of country should not get worried as coalition government with support of its partners will steer country out of challenges.”  Shehbaz mentioned that during his previous visits, these areas were inundated with floodwater and people of areas had faced immense destruction from Nowshera to Swat, Kalam, Kohistan, DIkhan and Tank districts were badly affected by floods.
