Rawalpindi: Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has been arrested in case of May 9 attack on General Headquarters of Pakistan Army also.

Imran Khan is incarcerated in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail on judicial remand in two references of National Accountability Bureau while his release orders in cipher case were issued on Monday. Authorities have officially arrested Imran Khan in GHQ attack case.

According to sources, Imran Khan has been named as accused in all cases related to May 9, 2023 incidents.

On other hand, anti-terrorism court judge Malik Ijaz Asif reached Adiala Jail to hear GHQ gate attack case against Imran Khan. Hearing into another case against him, registered at Waris Khan Police Station, linked to May 9 incidents will also be held in jail.

Investigation officers of May 9 incident cases also reached Adiala Jail. Officers will reportedly apprise judge of investigation report and Imran Khan’s role in cases.
