ISLAMABAD: Minister Climate Change Sherry Rehman said that Imran Khan once again is striving hard to stay relevant in politics.

“PTI is creating impression that powers lie only with Imran Khan to dissolve assembly, she said this in a statement issued here.  She went on to say powers to dissolve assembly rest with only Chief Minister as per Article 112. In Punjab PML-Q government is in place which is not in favour of dissolution of assembly.  Political options have expired with Imran Khan therefore, he wants to stay relevant by threatening for dissolution of assembly, she remarked.

PTI leaders are saying publicly that there are differences in party over matter of dissolution of assemblies. December 20 will pass but assemblies will remain there. Imran Khan will be seen entreating institutions. Imran Khan should persuade his party MNAs to get accept their resignation before dissolving provincial assembly, she observed.
