Imran fears plot being hatched to kill him

LAHORE: PTI Chief Imran Khan expressed fears “Powerful people” are hatching another assassination plot to kill him in bid to avert his potential return to power. “They [Dirty Harry, Rana Sanaullah and PM Shehbaz Sharif] will attack me once again as they know that they will face music If I come into power,” he said while addressing his supporters via video link from his Zaman Park residence here.

“They will try to kill me as they are scared even more now amid fears that I may come into power again,” he remarked. Imran alleged that five people including PM Shehbaz Sharif, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and “Dirty Harry” were behind attempt on his life in November last year. He did not disclose names of other two suspects, saying that he has recorded video containing names of all suspects allegedly hatching his assassination plot. He said same individuals are once again plotting another assassination plot to ‘eliminate’ him as ruling PDM knew that they could not compete with PTI in elections. He expressed annoyance over court summons, asking him to appear in person.

“My life is under threat. Who will protect me Dirty Harry or Rana Sanaullah? How can they protect as I am facing biggest threat from them,” he alleged. Imran appreciated apex court for ordering elections to Punjab and KP assemblies within 90 days
