MULTAN: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that IMF programme is not ‘halwa’ or ‘kheer’and there are stringent conditional-ties attached to this programme. We had to supplicate IMF. Thanks God, Pakistan has been saved from default.
Addressing ceremony of youth loan programme in Bahauddin Zakariya University and laptop distribution Prime Minister said that nation is ruined due to recommendations, nepotism and corruption. No one can hamper way of nations that learn from past. He said that youth is future of Pakistan. If there are resources, I will provide one crore laptops at your service. While announcing construction of Shujaabad Flyover PM said that if God gives me chance then I will build Multan medical city. He said that it is our responsibility to equip crores of boys and girls with education. After election if we get chance then we will distribute 50 lakh Laptops in 5 years. Criticising leadership of PTI Shehbaz Sharif said that previous government did nothing except repeating rhetoric of bandits, thieves and robbers. Big manufacturers were given 3 billion dollars without political dialogues in past few years. 4 percent markup was imposed on these manufacturers. These people also washed their hands in this Ganga who were already billionaires. While talking on IMF agreement he said that IMF programme has been approved which we should not celebrate. Conditions of IMF are very hard and tough. IMF loans were indispensable for economic stability. He said that key to future of country is in hands of young students.
There are millions of deserving children in Pakistan who are being supported. He said that every year children were sent to European Universities for education. However previous government had destroyed all that. He said that children of poor people will get education and skills through education endowment fund. He said that loan programme will empower youth economically. He said that rich people should help in educating poor children.
He said that thousand ‘Danish schools were built for education of poor children across country.
People are taking us as beggars. He said that we have to move forward through day in day out with hard work and concentration.
