Iman Ali expressed her disdain for social media during an interview, specifically towards celebrities who excessively use it. She finds people on social media discourteous and believes that capturing and posting one’s own pictures is cheap tactic that lacks star attitude.

Host asked Ali if she thought people who post their own pictures on social media were selling themselves and Ali confirmed her belief. While several celebrities have talked about negativity and constant scrutiny that come with social media, it has also provided way for them to communicate with fans and showcase their lives.

Celebrities can now share events and pictures of whoever they want without being hounded by paparazzi and they have power to make announcements and connect with fans directly.
