IHC warns police: Allow unimpeded Baloch march protest

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) instructed the capital city police to allow Baloch demonstrators to exercise their constitutional right to protest.

Chief Justice Aamer Farooq emphasized this during a hearing concerning the arrest of Baloch protesters earlier in the day. Participants of the long march, aimed at highlighting the issue of enforced disappearances of Baloch individuals, were detained by authorities in Islamabad.

The march, originating from Turbat and bound for the Islamabad Press Club, faced police intervention late Wednesday night.
