IHC orders to dismiss 13 cases against PTI leader Ali Gandapur

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered to dismiss 13 cases against PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur pertaining to violence during May 25 march and protest against Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) decision. 

A single bench of IHC presided over by Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri took up for hearing petitions seeking dismissal of cases. Court ordered to dismiss 13 out of 15 cases.  Ali Amin Gandapur withdrew 2 petitions seeking dismissal of FIR registered in police stations I-9 and CTD FIR. SHOs investigation officers of different police stations of Islamabad appeared in court. 

Court while addressing police officer during hearing of case remarked when High Court issues notice, then one should forget to sleep at night. When we were lawyers we did not sleep at night when we were to appear in court in morning. Court remarked register case and send all to jail. This is not a way. Job is transitory thing, it comes and goes.
