IGP chairs meeting regarding restructuring, reforms of CTD

KARACHI: IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon said that aim of restructuring CTD and bringing reforms is to digitise all affairs and activities including investigation, operations, training, intelligence working etc. Adapting to requirements of time and improving success graph in move in a correct direction.  He said that CTD’s operational performance as well as investigative and research performance will be significantly increased.

Conviction rate will also improve due to robust/effective investigation and post-adhan challan. Meeting was held at Central Police Office with IG Sindh in chair. Information obtained from tour, details of briefing regarding introduction of restructuring/reforms of Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Sindh were reviewed and instructions were given.  Additional IGC TD Imran Yakub Minhas DIG CTD Asif Ijaz Sheikh SSP Investigation CTD Fida Hussain Shah SSP Operations CTD Zubair Nazeer Sheikh, AIG Operations Sindh, AIG Admin. Apart from CPO, in-charge CTD Raja Umar Khattab and in-charge CTD Technical Mazhar Mashwani were present.
