ISLAMABAD: Chief Minister KP Mehmood Khan has said federal government is not giving right to us and if funds are not provided we will stage sit in. “Federal  government should give our right to us. We are not begging. Our right be given to us. Is KP not part of Pakistan. If our plea is not heard then we will stage dharna.” he said while addressing joint press conference along with finance ministers of Punjab and AJK here yesterday.

He pointed out that only Rs 5.5 billion have been provided to them till December. Federation had promised to provide Rs 10 billion during flood. Federal government is pushing us to wall. He held federal government is not allowing us to get money from any bank. Funds against FATA merging is not being given to us. We are left with no money to even disburse salaries among employees. “We are passing through difficult time eversince federal government has come to power. If we are part of Pakistan then we should be provided funds including Sehat card and merging of FATA funds. If funds are not provided funds then how will we make progress. Khalid Khurshid Chief Minister GB said how can we run province with 2.5 billion rupees. Federal government has slashed our development budget.
