ICG brought leaders of Iqra University to visit Paris Van Java

Karachi: City of Bandung, one of fashion and creative industry cities in Indonesia is known as Paris Van Java. One of Indonesia’s main tourist destinations and is located close to Jakarta, nation’s capital. On December 5 2022, leaders of Iqra University were represented by Prof. Dr Muhammad Zaki Rashidi and Prof.Dr. Syed Ali Raza had opportunity to visit this city to sign Memorandum of Understanding with two major universities in Bandung, Telkom University and University of Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI).

At Telkom University, delegation was received by Dr Ir. Rina Pudji Astuti, M.T Vice-Rector of Research, Innovation and Partnership and faculty leadership. Signing of MoU took place wisely. In her remarks, she expressed her appreciation to Indonesian Consul General for opportunity to work with Iqra University.

Telkom University and Iqra University have agreed to realise this collaboration shortly, especially for 5 collaborative focuses, namely student exchanges, scholarships, teacher exchanges, conferences and seminars, research and publications and collaboration on global MBA programme. Delegation was received by Prof. Dr Adang Suherman, M.A. Vice-Rector for Finance and Resources and other faculty leaders at University of Pendidikan Indonesia. Indonesian Consul General, Dr June Kuncoro Hadiningrat in virtually expressed his appreciation and congratulations to Chancellors of Iqra University, Telkom University and Indonesian University of Education for this collaboration. 

Prof. Dr Muhammad Zaki Rashidi representing Vice-Chancellor expressed his gratitude for facilitation of Indonesian Consulate General in Karachi.
