ICC’s another delegation to visit Pakistan for Champions Trophy preparations review

Lahore: International Cricket Council (ICC) is expected to send another of its delegations to Pakistan for review of preparations for forthcoming Champions Trophy slated to happen in country next year in February.
According to details, event managers will be part of event inspection team, which is likely to visit in September-October. Sources divulged ICC has set routine to visit those countries that have to host events of global cricket administrative body. So far, three different delegations of ICC have visited country to review matters in connection with hosting latest edition of Champions Trophy. Grounds and pitches are being prepared in line with criteria of ICC. Last time, it was Pakistan that managed to clinch edition under leadership of Sarfraz Ahmed. They were of opinion that work on grounds and pitches were being taken with responsibility and appreciated efforts that had been taken by administration for fixing issues of pitches, grounds and stadiums infrastructures. Official said that grounds and pitches were being prepared in line with criteria of ICC.
