IBA-CED conducts 3-week Women Entrepreneurship Series-2022

KARACHI: IBA Center for Entrepreneurial Development (IBA- CED) conducted a three weeks’ Women Entrepreneurship Series (WES 2022) in November 2022. WES 2022 was a weekend-based program aimed at unleashing entrepreneurial potential of women. The program aimed to promote the entrepreneurial mindset and inculcate skills that are in high demand in the industry.

Around 40 women entrepreneurs participated in the program and were imparted skill-based training in four areas: Entrepreneurial Mindset Development, Digital Marketing, Content Writing and E-Commerce. The CED organized a certificate distribution ceremony and product showcasing at the IBA City Campus  as a closing of the WES 2022. Dr. Lalarukh Ejaz, Director IBA CED, appreciated the participants for their commitment and active engagement during their training at the CED. She invited the participants to stay connected and encouraged to share their mentoring, handholding and incubation needs with the CED.

Mr. Muhammad Talha Siddiqui, CEO Renaissance Inspection & Certification Agency, Mr. Zahid Karani, Senior Journalist, Ms. Hakeem Rukh-e-Nasreen Agha, Mr. Kashif Memon, CEO Eureka, and Ms. Shehr Bano, Senior Journalist, The News International graced the session with their presence. Certificates were distributed among the participants for making this program a remarkable success. Later, the product showcasing event took place, in which our women entrepreneurs showcased their products, and engaged and networked over lunch.
