Sahir Lodhi, host associated with Pakistan showbiz industry revealed in his recent interview, "Every Thursday I visit Dr. Aamir Liaquat and Umar Sharif graves at shrine of Abdullah Shah Ghazi where both are buried. Pakistan has lost many big names in past few years. Omar Sharif is one such name. He is considered an institution in comedy and people always loved his performances. 

Sahir Lodhi, participating in private channel programme mentioned his close relationship with late Dr. Aamir Liaquat and Umar Sharif. He said that Umar Sharif is my teacher, I still eat Umar Sharif's bread. Host further said that he has learned work from late Moin Akhtar and Umar Sharif. Referring to one of his best shows, he said that Umar Sharif called me after watching my programme and praised it and also gave note of a thousand rupees as gift.
