Hyderi Market police nabs two notorious offenders

In a significant breakthrough, the Hyderi Market police, under the supervision of SSP District Central, Zeeshan Shafique Siddiqui, arrested two notorious street criminals involved in multiple cases of street crime, bike lifting, and narcotics selling.

The arrested individuals, identified as Asif alias Tory son of Muhammad Ishaq and Abdul Majeed son of Hussain Bukhsh, were wanted by the District Central police in connection with various crimes. Their arrest is expected to significantly reduce street crime and bike lifting incidents in District Central. The police recovered a 30-bore pistol with live rounds, two mobile phones, Rs. 4,000 in cash, and a CNIC from the possession of the accused. The recovered items have been included in the case property of FIR No. 398/2024. 

The police have registered two cases against the accused: FIR No. 398/2024 under sections 392/397/34 and FIR No. 399/2024 under the Sindh Arms Act. A review of the accused’s criminal record revealed a long history of involvement in various crimes, including: Asif alias Tory: FIR No. 133/2015 under sections 353/324/34 at Hyderi Market police station, FIR No. 106/2015 under sections 147/148/149/186/353/324 at Hyderi Market police station, FIR No. 60/2016 under section 6/9-C at Hyderi Market police station and FIR No. 61/2016 under section 23(i)a at Hyderi Market police station. Abdul Majeed: FIR No. 343/2024 under section 381-A at Hyderi Market police station, FIR No. 391/2024 under section 381-A at Rizvia police station, FIR No. 468/2024 under section 381-A at Gulberg police station, FIR No. 478/2024 under section 381-A at Nazimabad police station. The arrest of these notorious criminals is a significant achievement for the Hyderi Market police and a major step towards reducing crime in District Central.
