Hyderabad’s next mayor will be from PPP, says minister Nasir Shah

HYDERABAD: Sindh Local Government Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has expressed hope that next mayor of Hyderabad will be from Pakistan Peoples’ Party.
Addressing public meeting of party in Paretabad area here, Minister said that team led by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah was working hard to fulfill mission of PPP’s Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
Shah informed that many development schemes in province had been stalled due to calamity caused by monsoon rains and floods. He added that government remained engaged in rescue and relief which was followed by rehabilitation measures. However, Minister said that government would soon resume work on development projects pertaining to roads, sewerage, water supply and other schemes.
He claimed that PPP’s government always provided employment to people. He said that PPP’s Chairman had directed CM Sindh to provide employment to people against thousands of vacant jobs.
