Hurling baseless allegations: Pakistan Army officer files defamation case against ex-mly man Adil Raja

LAHORE: In what is being described as an unprecedented action, a serving officer of Pakistan Army has filed defamation case in Britain court against former military man retired Maj Adil Farooq Raja “For hurling baseless allegations against him”.
Ex-serviceman-turned-Youtuber in multiple vlogs and posts shared on Youtube and Twitter accused Army officer of electoral rigging and horse-trading against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Raja, who runs Youtube and Twitter pages with username of @soldierspeaks also claimed that senior intelligence officer had held secret meetings with PPP co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari to manipulate by-elections in Punjab. Reports said serving Army officer filed defamation case against Raja who has been living in self-imposed exile in London since April 2022, in London High Court in August last. Officer has denied allegations and sought action against Youtuber.
Recently, Raja was slammed widely after he shared vlog about alleged relationship between former top military officers and celebrities of Pakistani showbiz industry.
