Humayun Saeed and Adnan Siddiqui are the two brilliant actors who make headlines whenever they appear together in the dramas.
Their hit dramas include Ishq Junoon Deewangi, Mehndi, Mere Paas Tum Ho & Gentleman. Mere Paas Tum Ho fetched them a phenomenal fame and they got international recognition as well. Currently, fans are loving them as Iqbal Munna & Rehmati in Green Entertainment’s hit serial Gentleman. Lately, the two actors appeared in Fuchsia Magazine’s podcast where they talked about their professional insecurities and the stardom of their blockbuster drama serial Mere Paas Tum Ho. Talking about professional insecurities, Humayun Saeed said, “Adnan used to grab the good roles quietly”, he said it in a fun manner. Adnan Siddiqui replied to his allegations and added, “If there are three production houses, I will grab the character of my choice from the one that is not Humayun’s production but at Humayun’s production house I will be given what they have chosen for me, having said that, I would say we never felt any insecurity or professional jealousy. We never saw bitterness in our relationship. We never thought like that.”.
Humayun Saeed said that there was a competition in a healthy manner. He also revealed that Aijaz Aslam used to do complaints with Humayun Saeed in an innocent manner when Adnan Siddiqui used to get the same role that was also pitched to Aijaz Aslam. He also said , “but still Adnan Siddiqui and Aijaz Aslam shared a great bond and friendship and never indulged into ugly fights, also, there was so much of work that we never felt insecure like in Mehndi we had three characters in it, we all had equally powerful roles but I chose the one who died, I took promise from Javed Saab to give me that role but a part from that nothing else happened. All we could do was to request to get the character of our choice, that’s it. Now, I want to do good character but after a gap of two three years, now I don’t have any insecurity. Adnan Siddiqui also said that he never had difficulty in getting characters.
