‘Host school victory in Rashidabad Baseball match’

HYDERABAD: SST Jashan Azadi Sports Festival started at SST public school Rashidabad. Event was inaugurated by Principal Air Commodore Retired Nayyer Qayyum Khawaja Satara Imtiaz Military.

After the colorful opening ceremony, invited guest teams from baseball, hockey, football, basketball, karate and other sports alongwith the organizers of the program reached their respective venues under the supervision of Director Sports Nazir Raees, Coordinator Deedar Ali Khoso. The baseball match was organized by SST coach Zaheeruddin.  Secretary of Sindh Baseball Association Pervez Ahmed Sheikh, Coordinator Khawar Shah Academy Rameez Raja, Moeez Rafiq and others were present on this occasion. In the later held baseball match, SST Juniors defeated Hyderabad Green Juniors by 10-8 runs. Abdul Basit of the winning team scored 2 while Muhammad Ali, Nauman, Abdul Malik, Abdul Ahad, Liaqat, Taha, Ali Zeib, Owais scored one run each.

On behalf of Hyderabad Green Juniors, Javed Ali, Hyder Ali scored 2-2 while Nabeel, Haroon, Mueez and Khazeema scored 1-1 run each. At the end of the match, Pervez Shaikh thanked the organizers for including the baseball game in their festival. He says that SST’s green field is suitable and is our favorite venue, that is the reason why the present secretary of Pakistan Federation Baseball, Syed Fakhar Ali Shah, coach Tariq Nadeem, Sindh Baseball Association President Engr. Muhammad Mohsin Khan, Vice President Aisha Irum and Head Coach Amir Saleem have already visited here and are keen to organize the mega event here.
