Holding int’l trade fairs guarantee to stabilise economy: Tariq Shah Chief APSMA

KARACHI: Industrial exhibitions around world prove to be very useful for expanding export and businesses. Organising domestic and foreign exhibitions is very vital for stability of economy.

Syed Tariq Shah, Central Chairman of All Private Schools Management Association (APSMA) Sindh on visit to ITCN Asia 2022 Exhibition at Karachi Expo Centre said that economy of any country cannot develop unless international exhibitions of products manufactured in country are organised because it increases exports and country develops. Series of industrial exhibitions should be organised in country, that will help industrial development and also minimize unemployment.

Tariq Shah said that there are vast opportunities for foreign investment in country, taking advantage of which US, China, Turkey and other countries are investing. He said that development of any country depends on economy for which current government is making efforts to revive country’s economy and increase foreign exchange reserves. He said that America is largest market for Pakistani products, which has scope for further growth. Women entrepreneurs of Gaon Goth are also interested in doing business because handmade products are loved all over world. He said that carpets, jewellery and other handmade items are in high demand in international market which can be exported.

While more than 4,000 Pakistani items are duty free which can be exported and earn foreign exchange worth millions of dollars.
