The referendum held in Los Angeles, California, USA for the establishment of Khalistan was successful.
More than 35,000 Sikhs participated in the vote to make Indian Punjab Khalistan. The Sikh community from all over the United States arrived in Los Angeles in large numbers to vote and participated in the voting that began at 9 am at the Civic Center. At the end of the voting, Sikhs for Justice leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannu announced in his address that the next Khalistan referendum would be held in the US capital, Washington, DC on August 17 and thanked the Trump administration for allowing this referendum to be held.
He said that Sikhs around the world are sending a clear message to India through their votes that they do not want to be under Indian domination. Meanwhile, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has urged the United Nations to take immediate notice of the deteriorating situation in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, where more than one million Indian soldiers are holding more than ten million people hostage and are being deprived of their basic rights. The spokesperson of the Hurriyat Conference, in a statement, called on UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres to intervene immediately to resolve the Kashmir dispute to prevent a possible nuclear disaster in South Asia.
These two news reports make it clear that minorities in India are fighting for freedom because on the one hand, India has been holding the Kashmiri people hostage for the last 77 years and on the other hand, it is using every tactic to crush the Khalistan movement. In this situation, the criminal silence of the United Nations and international human rights organizations is further increasing India's morale.
The United Nations should play its positive role to prevent this situation from deteriorating further. As of latest development, a new form of Indian terrorism has emerged. Ever since the Indian intelligence agency RAW has eliminated some freedom fighters in foreign countries, its operations have been increasing. The Indian intelligence agency killed some characters fighting for the freedom of Khalistan in Western countries. Now perhaps their next target is Kashmir because Indian institutions have started issuing threats regarding two educated people active for the freedom of Kashmir. Allegations continue to be leveled against these two personalities, Ghazala Habib Khan and Abdul Hameed Lone, even though both of them are fighting for the freedom of their land.
Both of them are accused of organizing anti-India events under the banner of Friends of Kashmir. Indian intelligence agencies have tried to link the main characters of Friends of Kashmir with terrorist organizations. There is also an allegation that Friends of Kashmir supports Sikhs for Justice, thus strengthening the voice of Khalistan's freedom. Surely, this question must be coming to your mind, who are the chairperson of Friends of Kashmir, Ghazala Habib Khan, and the organization's vice chairman, Abdul Hameed Lone? Why are Indian intelligence agencies making accusations against these two personalities and threatening them?
The whole world knows that some part of Jammu and Kashmir is independent, which is called Azad Jammu and Kashmir, while a large part of Jammu and Kashmir is occupied by India. Srinagar and Jammu city are in this part. Sardar Habib Khan Saduzai from Rawalakot, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, went to Karachi for work, where his children were born, and his education was also completed in Karachi. Ghazala Habib Khan is the daughter of Sardar Habib Khan Saduzai, she used to come first in the speech competitions of Karachi University, she has been writing poetry, she has published several books, and she used to compete on radio and TV since her student days.
Many years ago, Ghazala Habib Khan moved to America, where she did not forget the land of her ancestors, but made the freedom of Kashmir her mission and formed an organization called Friends of Kashmir, which aims to raise voice on human rights violations in occupied Kashmir. Both Ghazala Habib Khan and Abdul Hamid Lone are fighting the Kashmir case from the same platform. Ever since Modi came to power in India, he has been bent on making India a complete Hindu state. In the states of India where BJP governments were formed, Muslims were particularly subjected to oppression. Muslim shops and houses were demolished using bulldozers. This process started during the tenure of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
That is why people call Yogi Nath Bulldozer Baba. After Uttar Pradesh, the use of bulldozers started in states including Assam, Gujarat, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan where BJP is in power. Condemning this cruel injustice, Amnesty International published a report. According to this report, hundreds of Muslims were killed, their properties were destroyed, and instead of feeling remorse for this cruelty and injustice, BJP governments are proud that we are adopting this cruel attitude towards minorities. In India, the BJP government, the offspring of the RSS, is in power, spreading as much hatred as it can against Pakistan and shedding the blood of Indian Muslims.
In India at present beef has become a message of death for Muslims. It has become easy for the BJP goons to persecute and martyr Muslims under the guise of 'cow meat' because the Modi government does not take any notice of such abuses and killings. How many innocent Muslims have been put to death on the false charge of keeping or selling beef at home, now a new cruelty against Muslims has been born for a few years now, if a Muslim has a dispute with a Hindu, or if someone speaks against BJP, his house is bulldozed. So far, many Muslim houses have been bulldozed in Madhya Pradesh, UP and Rajasthan. Despite the strong protest of Muslims, this cruelty is not being stopped.
The Modi government regularly defends it and the courts instead blame the Muslims. A recent research report, which has collated data about the discrimination and atrocities against minorities in India since 2014 has also shed light on cow-related violence. The report titled: Documentation Of The Oppressed (DOTO), containing database until August 2022, has reported over 200 such atrocities involving more than 850 people, including Muslims, Dalits and Christians. The overwhelming majority of the victims, though, are Muslims. It may be recalled here that Rashtriya Sevak Sangh (RSS) was founded by an extremist Hindu Maratha Dr. Billy Ram Hagre before the division of the Sub-continent. The aim of this organization was to establish 'Akhand Bharat' and 'Hindu Raj'.
This extremist organization was to wage an armed struggle for Hindu supremacy and to teach the use of all types of firearms to achieve this goal. This organization published books and pamphlets and spread them all over India to promote its ideas. RSS leaders also started a campaign to drive Indian Muslims out of the subcontinent. Its leaders said that Muslims are non-local. They have come from outside so they should be thrown out of India.
The RSS did not limit itself to these tactics but also started the 'Shuddhi' movement through which Muslims were to be converted into Hindus. The RSS continued its extremist policy since it formation and RSS was also campaigning against cow slaughter across India.
