ISLAMABAD: Hearing of contempt of Election Commission case against Fawad Chaudhry and Asad Umar has been adjourned again. Contempt of EC case came up for hearing before EC. Counsel for Fawad Chaudhry appeared before EC and took plea Fawad Chaudhry is ill, therefore, he has not come.

Member EC Ikram Ullah said you have adopted attitude that you don’t appear here. Member Nisar Durrani said we will issue proper order on it.

When Asad Umar appeared before EC then member Nisar Durrani said your counsel Anwar Mansoor does not appear here. Asad Umar replied I have myself appeared here. He requested for adjournment of hearing till October 24. Till that date Fawad would have recovered from his illness.

Member Nisar Durrani said he hoped that Fawad would recover by October 24 and you could also meet him. Later hearing of contempt of EC case was adjourned till October 24.
