Health and hygiene are two essential concepts. Health refers to state of physically as well a mental well-being. Health also encompasses social wellbeing of an individual. Health is not just about being fit but also having appropriate resources to live. Having a sound body and mind is an indication of good health.

Health is a quality of life that enables you to live a longer life. World Health Organisation (WHO) defines health as “a condition of complete physical, mental, spiritual and communal well-being, rather than only the absence of illness. “A person is not regarded as healthy if he is free of sickness or in good bodily shape but is stressed, tense, angry, greedy, or in any other way. Therefore, besides physical health, we must also consider mental and emotional health. It only can be achieved if spiritual and social health can be achieved and can move towards welfare of society.

We all have heard old saying “Health is Wealth,” which a great American philosopher Ralph Waldo Emerson said as “First wealth is health” in 1860. It is essential to be healthy and hygienic to build your body’s immune system.

Health is a positive state of being in which all components of body and mind are in proper balance and harmony with one another. It is well believed that only those people may be considered healthy if they have a healthy mind and a healthy body. For a healthy and happy existence, health and cleanliness are essential.
