HC Mauritius, Governor discuss bilateral trade, cultural ties

Karachi: High Commissioner of Mauritius Rashidally Soobadar and Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori discussed bilateral trade and cultural relations, investment and matters of mutual interest.
Governor said that mutual relations are getting stronger with passage of time and government will provide all possible assistance Mauritius investors. He said that SIFC is full supporter for investment. Later, High Commissioner of Mauritius along with Governor visited Quaid Room, ration drive and Hope Bell. Governor informed High Commissioner about welfare measures. High Commissioner addressed students at IT marquee. Meanwhile, Governor attended special convocation 2024 of Indus University at Governor House. Tessori along with Consul Generals of various countries, industrialists and personalities associated with education sector participated. Consul General Indonesia and well-known businessman Ali Shekhani was given an honorary degree in convocation.
Governor said that he has brotherly relationship with Consul General of Indonesia. He has played an important role in strengthening relations between two countries. Tessori said that we will encourage whoever does good work under Governor’s initiative, adding that 22 thousand more children will be taught IT onsite.
