Harassment free atmosphere for women responsibility of state: President

LAHORE: President Dr. Arif Alvi has stressed on acquiring religious education along with other education. Addressing convocation at Minhaj-ul-Quran University here yesterday, he said that nation should strive to seek more and more knowledge because it’s heritage of Muslims. He said that women should be kept in economic cycle of society and providing a harassment free atmosphere to women is responsibility of state.

Pakistan is working to provide all sort of facilities in field of education, skill training, sfaety at workplace and self-employing opportunities to women in urban as well as rural areas. Women welfare departments are working in this connection. Women are more than half of population in country and should get ample opportunities to live and eran in congenial atmosphere.
