Hamdard Pakistan awards scholarships to students

KARACHI: Hamdard Foundation Pakistan has provided meritorious scholarships to 224 bright and deserving students from all over country under Shaheed-e-Pakistan Hakim Mohammed Said Memorial Scholarship programme.
Sadia Rashid President Hamdard Foundation Pakistan (HFP) presided over proceedings. Prof. Dr. Syed Shabib-ul-Hasan Vice Chancellor University and Prof. Dr. Tamim Akhar Medical Director NBHUH attended event. Sadia Rashid congratulating students advised them to value time and follow footsteps of Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said, who strictly followed this principle. She told young audience that younger generation must respect elders because this deed pleases Allah. Prof. Dr. Syed Shabib-ul-Hasan said Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said had sown seed of Hamdard Pakistan which now had become a tenacious tree.
“Hamdard has been serving nation in field of education and health. Hamdard Pakistan serves people. Later Sadia Rashid along with guests of honour distributed cheques to students. More than Rs 10 million of scholarships have been provided to bright and deserving students. Parents and students in number attended event and thanked Hamdard Foundation Pakistan, especially Sadia Rashid for her continuous support and encouragement.
