Hamdard Foundation holds ‘Health for All’ meeting, Sadia urges healthy lifestyle

KARACHI: Sadia Rashid President of Hamdard Foundation Pakistan said that it is duty of every Pakistani to maintain health at an optimal level. Neglect of health threatens survival and security of society as whole. If every member of nation is strong and healthy, then Pakistan is strong and healthy. Addressing Hamdard Naunehal Assembly organised by Hamdard Foundation Pakistan on ‘Health for All’ at Bait-ul-Hikmah Auditorium
Sadia Rashid added that today’s topic had been chosen in accordance with World Health Organisation’s theme for this year. For establishment of healthy society, it is necessary that individuals get opportunity for balanced development in all aspects. She advised youths to adopt healthy lifestyle and use mobile and internet only for necessity and actively participate in sports.
Stella Jafari chief guest said that Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said possessed many exceptional qualities and abilities. He is role model for younger generation by every standard. He was remarkable individual. He was extremely intelligent, passionate, perceptive, humanistic and had sincere heart and plight for others. Despite his calm tone, he spoke authoritatively. He was great listener and never argued with people. He was always eager to learn. Children should emulate his traits. Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said’s patriotism and philanthropy were exemplary. As young people, you should also be passionate about serving your country. Only then will you be able to succeed. Young speakers from different schools said that health is blessing of Allah and pledged that they would serve Pakistan by being healthy and raising awareness about health in society.
Muhammad Mubeen Mughal (Hamdard Public School) conducted proceedings of meeting. Meeting ended with Dua-i-Said offered by students of Hamdard Public School and Hamdard Village School.
