Hamas shatters ‘greater Israel dream’, Ismail tells Islamabad solidarity rally

ISLAMABAD: Ismail Haniyeh, Chief of Palestinian group Hamas has said that resistance movement shattered Tel Aviv’s dream of “Greater Israel”.
He remarked while virtually addressing Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan rally held here to express solidarity with Palestinians braving relentless Israeli bombing of besieged territory.
He added that Hamas has been fighting war of Islamic world and offered sacrifices of thousands of people against Israel.
“Muslims of sub-continent resisted British rule and achieved freedom,” he remarked. According to Health Ministry in Gaza Strip, at least 9,770 people, including 4,800 children had been martyred in Palestinian territory since war with Israel.
He said Pakistan’s position in global conflicts is important and thanked Pakistan for expressing solidarity with Palestinians. “Palestinians and Kashmiris are still fighting for freedom today.”
