Haleem Adil writes letter to CM Murad on interim setup

KARACHI: Opposition leader Sindh Aleem Adil Sheikh wrote letter to Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on issue of interim setup in province as government tenure will end next month. Copy of letter was also sent to Speaker Sindh Assembly.

It was stated in letter that tenure of Sindh Assembly will end on August 14, so as per Constitution make consultation with opposition leader on interim government. Opposition leader wrote that according to Constitution consultative meeting be summoned so discussion can be made on appointing interim government. I am available for consultative meeting any time.

Constitutionally Chief Minister is bound to consult opposition leader.

Aleem Adil Sheikh said since few days, opposition leader's issue is in air from Sindh CM and other ministers and they are giving analysis on changing of opposition leader. No ban on analysis. He said that he will talk on interim setup as per CM Sindh. When he will call, I will come over.

He said CM sindh and opposition leader has to consult on issue of interim setup, for which he will write letter.

Whether I am on bail or in jail, I will come over for consultation, Aleem said and if you want to have opposition leader like Raja Riaz so there are many in assembly.

Opposition leader said if you want to have constitutional consultation, we are ready. What is procedure for opposition, I am ready to follow that.
