Haleem Adil claims DIG Farrukh tasked to ‘kill’ him

KARACHI: Opposition leader in Sindh Assembly and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Haleem Adil Sheikh claimed DIG Farrukh Bashir has been tasked to ‘kill’ him. In letter penned to chairperson NA Standing Committee Haleem Adil alleged that Sindh police officers are being used for personal political gains.

PTI leaders are being fixed in ‘false’ cases in Sindh, while deployment of officers is also underway on nepotism. Sheikh also alleged that DIG Farrukh Bashir has been tasked to ‘assassinate’ him. In letter, PTI leader also complained that his security has been revoked by Sindh police despite threats. He demanded action against DIG Farrukh Bashir and provision of security amid dire threats.

Earlier, in letter written to Chief Justice of Pakistan Haleem Adil Sheikh stated that special task of his murder is given to DIG Farrukh Bashir. He claimed that he was arrested in fake cases and then they tried to kill him as they had attacked him before.

Sheikh revealed that Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has been given responsibility to murder him on orders of Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto.
