Hafiz Naeem launches Alkhidmat women’s affordable market ‘Sasta Bazaar’

KARACHI: Alkhidmat Foundation’s Women’s Wing Trust organized a one-day Winter Sasta Bazaar at Alkhidmat head office recently which was inaugurated by Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman in the presence of Nazima Women’s Wing Asma Safeer and President Women’s Wing Munawar Ikhlas. Hafiz Naeem went around the stalls put up by members and volunteers of the Women’s Wing in the company of Executive Director Alkhidmat Rashid Qureishi.
These stalls were stocked with winter goods such as warm clothes, blankets, comforters as well as other household goods and children’s items such as clothes, hijabs, bedsheets, artificial jewellery, kitchen items, stationery, toys and others. Scores of ladies and children came to the event and enjoyed themselves. Speaking on the occasion, Hafiz Naeem appreciated the good work of the Women’s Wing and congratulated them on the success of the Sasta Bazaar which was intended to provide relief to ladies from lower-income and middle-income sections by offering household necessities at cheap prices in these times of inflation.
Among other important personalities to visit the Sasta Bazaar included General Secretary Jamaat-e-Islami Women’s Wing Pakistan Humaira Tariq as well as Ex-MNA and Director Foreign Affairs JI Women’s Wing Samia Raheel Qazi, who went around and spoke to the ladies at the stalls. Samia Raheel Qazi expressed her appreciation of the high quality and low prices of items on sale at the Sasta Bazaar and said that more initiatives of a similar kind were needed for the benefit of women and families who could not afford such necessities.
