Hafiz Naeem demands ‘No delay’ in LG polls

KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi amir Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said that Local Government (LG) polls must take place in metropolitan at any cost. Addressing presser Naeem said that he has no issue with unification of all MQM factions but will not let happen delay in LG elections.

Hafiz Naeem while pouring scorn on PPP said that party and its coalition have an interest in corruption only while demanding polls as per schedule.

He said that Election Commission should take notice as he wrote twice to electoral body regarding to matter. He said that citizens have been deprived of basic necessities like gas and electricity which added insult to injuries of people. Hafiz Naeem opined that demonstrators in Gwadar braved extreme violence which is condemnable.
