KARACHI: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Board of Directors (BoDs) has finalised four names for slot of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). PIA BODs mulled over different names for key post.
Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Amir Hayat, who is currently serving as interim Chief Executive Officer of Pakistan International Airlines has emerged as top contender for post of CEO, say sources.
Position of CEO has been lying vacant after Air Marshal Arshad Malik completed his three-year tenure on April 25. Arshad Malik was appointed in October 2018. Air Vice Marshal Aamir Hayat is currently working as acting PIA CEO.
