ISLAMABAD: PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry has said government is escaping on matter of bail of Shahbaz Gill who was earlier tortured too and now government wants to subject him to torture again.  “Registering cases against PTI leaders is policy of Rana Sanaullah”, he said this while talking to media men here.

He said Shahbaz Gill is overseas Pakistani. He is weak therefore, he was caught. His parents are also not in Pakistan. This is weak case. In this case counsel for government is not ready to give arguments. Government wants to obtain his remand for torturing him.

He held entire PTI stands with Shahbaz Gill. This matter should be resolved soon. Torture cannot be allowed.  He indicated law officer is seeking time from court to give arguments. Government case against Shahbaz Gill is weak.

This is same case what Maulana Fazlur Rehman had done.  He remarked Shahbaz Gill is professor in US and he has no affiliation with terrorist outfits.  What Shahbaz Gill said on private TV channel is before us, he underlined. There were no mobile signals on Muharram 10. Therefore Shahbaz Gill made land line call.

Torture against political workers is on rise in country, he said adding Punjab government is moving ahead on May 25 incidents in civilised manner. Atta Tarar has obtained bail which is good thing
