Govt undertakens initiatives to empower youth: PM Kakar

LAHORE: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar said government has undertaken various initiatives to tap into our economic potential and empower youth.
Addressing 1st Convocation of Institute of Art and Culture here, he said Pakistan needs skills, creativity and leadership skills of youth to move economy forward.
Prime Minister said we need passion, innovation and commitment of youth for social justice and their determination to make positive impact on society to fulfill the dreams of our forefathers. Referring to China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, he said it is game changer project that holds potential to transform our economy.
Anwaarul Haq Kakar said we also have to look at challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. He said youth of Pakistan is our most valuable asset and young minds of Pakistan are eager and enthusiastic to contribute to country’s development.
Caretaker Prime Minister said education sector in Pakistan has played vital role in driving economic development and shaping country’s future. Anwaarul Haq Kakar advised passing out graduates to be well equipped to face challenges and opportunities to go forth and make nation proud for future of Pakistan. He lauded hard work and dedication of faculty and staff of institution saying that this convocation acknowledges and celebrates invaluable role of Institute of Art and Culture in society. Prime Minister awarded degree and medals among passed out graduates.
