LAHORE: Parliamentary leader of opposition in Punjab Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Malik Muhammad Khan said that caretaker Chief Minister should be chosen from among names proposed by them and names proposed by government doesn’t have ability to be made Chief Minister. Talking to media after parliamentary committee meeting, he said that unfortunately matter could not be settled politically and he was not in favour of taking political matters to court.

PML-N leader while terming past four years as darkest in history of Pakistan said that it is authority of Election Commission of Pakistan to now appoint caretaker Punjab CM.

He declared Mohsin Naqvi competent and credible person for caretaker CM slot and said National Accountability Bureau made false cases against them.

He said that Chaudhry Parvez Elahi doesn’t trust committee nominated by him, adding that he has already given statement about moving court, but court has nothing to do with this matter.
