Govt Girls College Alnoor holds workshop on traditional sports KHO KHO

Karachi: A workshop on traditional 'Kho Kho game' was held by the Government Girls Degree College F.B area Al Noor. The workshop was attended by four colleges including Apwa Government Girls Degree College, H.I Osmania Government Girls College, Government Girls College Block K and the host College Government Girls Degree College Alnoor.

Principal Dr Rizwana Siddiqui welcomed the officials of KHO KHO federation and the participating college teams In her address to the audience she appreciated the efforts of DPE Ms Batool Kazim and entire college  sports committee.

President Sindh Kho Kho Association Dr M Arif Hafeez has announced a tournament for the promotion of KHO KHO game. He also said it is a very famous game and played internationally.

Moreover, in the upcoming Sindh Games the best player will be selected through this tournament to participate. International player and secretary of Karachi Kho Kho Association Shahroz Alvi informed the participants about the game of Kho Kho about the technique, its rules and innovations. Addressing the workshop, Director Physical Education Government Degree Girls' College Alnoor, Batool Kazim said that I sincerely thank each and every one of you for making the Kho Kho workshop a wonderful success in our college premises.

 I am truly overwhelmed by the efforts put in by our Principal Prof. Dr.Rizwana Siddiqui, eminent teachers ,enthusiastic students and media representatives Faheem and Farhan and special thanks to Prof. Shazia Khanum and to the sports committee.
