ISLAMABAD: Government of Pakistan has appointed prominent businessman Zubair Imam Malik as an Honorary Investment Counsellor (HIC) in Angola. Zubair Imam Malik is Director of Popular Group of Industries.

Notification for his appointment has been issued by Prime Minister’s Office. Business community has expressed satisfaction over appointment of Malik and has hailed decision as welcome.

Federal Board of Investment has expressed confidence on his appointment and congratulated him stating that board is confident of fact that his vast experience and selfless effort will go a long way in substantially improving Foreign Direct Investment inflow from Angola. Republic of Angola is a country located on west coast of Southern Africa and a member of United Nations, OPEC, African Union, Community of Portuguese Language Countries and Southern African Development Community.
