Govt announces 5 Eid holidays from Apr 21

ISLAMABAD: Federal government announced five-day-long holiday for Eidul Fitr, reported Ministry interior.

According to statement issued by Ministry of Interior, Eidul Fitr holidays will be observed from Friday, April 21 to Tuesday, April 25.

Holidays were approved on recommendation of Cabinet Division. Formal notification will be issued by Interior Ministry.

Earlier in April, Ruet-e-Hilal Research Council (RHRC) said that chances of Eidul Fitr 2023 falling on April 21, Friday were meager as new crescent will be born at 9:13 am on April 20 and its age will be less than 10 hours that day.
