KARACHI: Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori issued a message on the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, emphasizing the importance of responsible driving and road safety.

“The World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims serves as a poignant reminder of the significance of accountable driving and the dire need to curb road accidents,” Governor Tessori stated. “Daily, numerous lives are lost due to road crashes, making it imperative to ensure adherence to traffic laws and regulations.”

Governor emphasized the importance of responsible driving to prevent accidents. He highlighted the need to raise awareness about road safety measures. Tessori also stressed the importance of adhering to traffic laws and regulations and urged parents to strictly prohibit underage children from driving.

He also noted that timely repair of roads can help control increasing accidents. Governor Tessori concluded, “This day reminds us of our collective responsibility to prioritize road safety and prevent accidents.” Meanwhile, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori, under the aegis of The Legendary Trust, distributed financial assistance checks worth approximately Rs.3 million to 10 artists.

“The Legendary Trust is committed to providing perpetual financial support to artists and their heirs,” stated Governor Tessori. “We will take all possible measures for the welfare and well-being of artists, who are the guardians of our cultural identity.”

Rs. 3 million distributed among 10 artists. The Legendary Trust established under Governor Tessori’s leadership to support artists and their heirs. Hundreds of artists have benefited from the trust’s efforts so far.

Governor Tessori emphasized the importance of preserving cultural heritage through artistic expression. “Artists are the custodians of our cultural identity, and it is our responsibility to support them.”
