KARACHI: Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori welcomed Swedish Ambassador Ms. Alexandra Berg Von Linde to discuss bilateral relations, investment, and trade.
The meeting emphasized the strengthening Pakistan-Sweden ties and explored opportunities for Swedish investors in Sindh. Governor Tessori highlighted the province’s attractive sectors, skilled youth, and educated workforce as key incentives. Ambassador Berg Von Linde expressed Sweden’s interest in various sectors and praised Sindh’s potential. She also visited Quaid-e-Azam’s historic room, planted a tree, and hoisted the flag as part of the tree plantation campaign. The key discussions held during the meeting included enhancing bilateral relations and trade, encouraging Swedish investment in Sindh, leveraging Sindh’s skilled youth and educated workforce and promoting cultural exchange and understanding. Ambassador Berg Von Linde also visited the IT Marque and praised the Governor’s initiative, saying it ensures a bright future for youth. She also rang the “Bell of Hope” at the Governor House, expressing delight at this unique initiative.
