Governor Tessori inaugurates obs/gynae wing at Kharadar General Hospital

Karachi: Education and health sector is of fundamental importance for life of nations. Without development in education and health sector, we cannot find our place in world.
Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori on visiting Kharadar General Hospital and School of Nursing while inaugurating obs/gynae wing said that Kharadar General Hospital has played very important role in saving the lives of mothers and new-born. It is historic achievement to serve continuously for 100 years in any country. Kharadar General Hospital has been providing high quality medical services at extremely subsidised rates to residents of old and underprivileged areas of Karachi for past hundred years. He appreciated high educational performance of School of Nursing of Kharadar General Hospital and congratulated President of hospital Muhammad Bashir Janmuhammad and Chairman Professor Abdul Ghaffar Billoo for their high human services. Basheer Jan Muhammad said that sincerity, good intentions and constant tireless work are required to build institutions and run them continuously successfully. Doctors, nurses, management and staff of Kharadar General Hospital are performing duty of humanitarian services in accordance with professional principles. Chief Executive Officer of Hospital Dr. Khalid Iqbal said that to ensure achievement of medical challenges and national goals, we must be focus and effective. To control obesity, dengue, malaria, chikungunya, typhoid, blood pressure, diabetes and other diseases, education, training and research trends will have to be developed. Director of School of Nursing Talat Parveen Shah said that nursing department is central in medical system. School is not only providing manpower according to needs of country by providing high professional education and training. Rather, it is playing an important role in improving precious human lives with high professional services.
Bashir Jan Muhammad presented special shield to Governor. Governor distributed laptops among position holders of School of Nursing and congratulated staff of Kharadar General Hospital for their excellent medical services.
