Governor Sindh vows to take Karachi Games to new heights of success, CM Sindh Murad praises organiser’s efforts

Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori has said that Karachi Games will become Sindh Games in the future and similar sports activities will be held in the whole of Sindh. Karachi Games were not held after 2008. The cowardly action was taken at the same time it was decided to organize large-scale sports competitions in Karachi. Congratulations to the winners of the Donkey Derby Race at the Games, all the participants of the race have worked hard and their hard work should be appreciated, he said at the Donkey Derby Race Ceremony held on the last day of the Karachi Games 2023 on Sunday morning.

Speaking at the prize distribution ceremony, she said, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, Sindh Government Spokesperson Barrister Murtaza Wahab, Administrator Karachi Dr. Syed Saifur Rahman, Municipal Commissioner Syed Shujaat Hussain and others were also present on this occasion. Governor of Sindh said that if Karachi develops then Sindh will develop and so on If Sindh develops then the whole of Pakistan will develop.  During the Karachi Games, the flood-affected brothers in Sindh were not forgotten, but they are trying to get the water out of the flood-affected areas as soon as possible and for the early rehabilitation of the flood victims. It is not for saving the country, we should play our part for the betterment of the country, we pray to Allah Almighty to give us more development in the field of sports. Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah while addressing the ceremony.  said that Sindh is the land of Sufis, there is talk of affection, love and brotherhood, in the current situation there is a dire need to create an atmosphere of love and brotherhood in the country, our sports.  The healthy tradition will continue, the Karachi Games should be held every year so that the citizens of Karachi have an opportunity to participate in sports activities, I congratulate the organizers of the Karachi Games and all the participants, Administrator Karachi Dr. Syed Saifur Rehman. He thanked all the guests for participating in the closing ceremony of the Donkey Derby Race and said that the ten-day Karachi Games During 42 sports competitions were organized in which more than 5 thousand sportsmen and athletes participated and extraordinary performance was seen in many sports. Earlier, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesuri and Administrator Karachi Dr. Syed Saifur Rahman inaugurated the Donkey Derby Race in connection with the Karachi Games at Kothari Parade Clifton and met the participants.  The runner who came in the number was given to Tariq, while the second place runner-up trophy was received by Abdul Khaliq, in the race, Umar was in the third place and Javed was in the fourth place. The racer Tariq, who won the Donkey Derby race, covered the prescribed distance of 7 kilometers in 12 minutes and 3 seconds. Decided, 30 racers participated in this competition, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori met the racer Arif Qadri who had an accident during the race and offered to give him 20 thousand rupees per month during his treatment and repair his donkey cart.
