‘Governor Sindh Tessori in talks with disgruntled MQM leaders Sattar, Kamal’

KARACHI: After Pak-Sarzameen Party (PSP) Chief Mustafa Kamal, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Bahali Committee head Dr Farooq Sattar called on Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori.

Disgruntled MQM leaders Mustafa Kamal and Dr Farooq Sattar held separate meetings with Sindh Governor. They discussed overall political situation and development projects of Karachi in meeting.

Sources told that Sindh Governor earlier expressed his willingness to see merger of all MQM factions to strengthen political parties. It was learnt that Kamal, Sattar and Tessori agreed on increasing cooperation and unity for development and stability of metropolis. Sources said that breakthrough is likely in days ahead regarding merger of MQM factions.

It is pertinent to mention here that during the meeting with Tessori, both Sattar and Kamal pledged to strengthening working relationship with cohesion for betterment of Karachi with an intent to resolve masses issues amicably with utmost sincerity.

A few days ago, a delegation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan called on Kamran Tessori and expressed concern over non-implementation of agreement signed with federal government and Pakistan Peoples' Party.

During the meeting, matters related to the political situation, local government (LG) elections, agreement with Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and the law and order situation came under discussion.

Reliable sources told this scribe that Kamran Tessori assured the party leaders to resolve the matter with Pakistan People’s Party as soon as possible.
