KARACHI: Governor Sindh, Kamran Khan Tessori, visited the Iranian Consulate yesterday to commemorate the 46th anniversary of the Iranian Revolution. Upon arrival, he was warmly received by Consul General Hassan Nourian and other diplomatic staff.
Governor Tessori presented a bouquet of flowers to Consul General Nourian, congratulating the Iranian people on this significant occasion. He praised the Iranian nation's resilience and determination, acknowledging the enduring legacy of Ayatollah Khomeini.
Addressing the gathering, Governor Tessori emphasized the strong bilateral ties between Pakistan and Iran, stating that relations have never been more stable. He expressed confidence in further strengthening these ties, highlighting the importance of mutual cooperation.
The Governor also acknowledged the support extended by Iran during challenging times, thanking the Iranian government for sending their Naval Chief to Pakistan.
He conveyed a message to the world, reaffirming Pakistan's willingness to collaborate with Iran. Governor Tessori praised the leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei, expressing gratitude for his guidance, which facilitated the visit of the Iranian President to Pakistan.
He assured that the memorandum of understanding signed during this visit would be implemented effectively.
The ceremony was attended by notable figures, including the Chief Minister of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah, Dr. Farooq Sattar, former Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Iranian Ambassador, and Consuls General of various countries.
