Governor Sindh meets Ethiopian ambassador, discusses bilateral ties, investment opportunities

Karachi: Governor Sindh, Kamran Khan Tessori, met with the Ambassador of Ethiopia, Jemal Beker Abdula, to discuss bilateral relations, investment opportunities, and trade between Pakistan and Ethiopia.
Also present at the meeting was the Honorary Consul General of Ethiopia, Ibrahim Khalid Tawab. During the meeting, Governor Tessori emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral ties between Pakistan and Ethiopia, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, and cultural exchange.
He highlighted the attractive investment opportunities available in Sindh, encouraging Ethiopian investors to take advantage of the province's favorable business environment. The Governor also appreciated the increased people-to-people exchanges between Pakistan and Ethiopia, facilitated by Ethiopian Airlines.
He noted that the bilateral relations between the two countries have contributed significantly to reducing unemployment and poverty in the region. Ambassador Abdula praised the Governor's initiatives, particularly the "Governor's Initiative" programs, which aim to improve the lives of the people of Sindh. He highlighted the exemplary projects, including the "Bell of Hope", "Ration Drive", and "IT Courses", which can be replicated in other regions. The meeting concluded with a commitment to further strengthen bilateral relations and explore new avenues for cooperation between Pakistan and Ethiopia.
